This 2. 5 acre facility is divided into 3 sections. Two sections are designated for either large dogs or small dogs and occasionally rotated to help save the turf so please pay attention to the signs when entering. A non-reservable pavilion was recently installed to provide shade to guests in the North area. This section of the Park provides the perfect opportunity for our residents and their dogs to enjoy the Parks. Ample parking are available at this site.

To preserve our facilities from damage during inclement weather, the St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department is occasionally forced to close the Dog Park in time of wet conditions.

DuSable Dog Park Rules: 1. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and injuries or damage caused by their dogs. 2. All dogs MUST be spayed or neutered. 3. No puppies under 4 months of age. 4. ALL dogs are required to be vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian and registered with the St. Charles County Rabies Control. All vaccinations must be current with vaccination tags properly displayed. 5. No children under the age of 8. 6. No animals other than dogs. 7. No sick or injured dogs. 8. No food, dog treats, rawhide, or glass containers. 9. Limit of three dogs per person in the off-leash area. 10. Pinch, spike and choke collars must be removed prior to entering the dog park. 11. Owners must clean up after their dogs. 12. Owners must carry a leash at all times and closely supervise their dogs. 13. Dogs must be under voice control at all times. 14. Never leave your dogs unattended. 15. Owners must stop dogs from digging and fill in any holes caused by their dogs. 16. Professional dog trainers may not use the park to conduct business without approval. 17. No climbing on or over the fence. 18. No bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, or any motorized devices except wheelchairs. 19. All dog owners who fail to comply with these rules will be asked to leave by Parks Personnel.
