The St. Charles Parks & Recreation Department offers 50-60 one day trips and 5-6 overnight or extended trips throughout the year. Details about upcoming trips are published in our Play Brochure twice a year.
Trip registration will be taken only when accompanied by payment. For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard or Discover ($10 minimum). Checks can be made payable to the St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department. A $20 fee is assessed for any check returned due to insufficient funds.
All trip fees are per person per trip.
All trips are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
WAITING LIST:
Taken for both the van and the bus if a trip fills. Please do not hesitate to call after the sign up deadline. You may be the traveler who makes the trip go or opens the trip up to a bus.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Please call us if you need any accommodations. This will help us assist you to have a great trip experience. If you have any dietary concerns, health or mobility issues please inform the trip coordinator at the time of registration.
Trip Cancellation Policy
DAY TRIPS:
- If cancelling 14 or more days prior to scheduled activity: Refund minus a $10 administration fee
- If cancelling 14 days or less from scheduled activity: NO REFUND
EXTENDED TRIPS:
- Cancellation policy will vary with each extended trip depending on the vendors and timelines involved with that particular trip. Check each individual trip for the cancellation policy in force for that particular trip.
